Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-16
These terms are between you and looot, operated by AY Automate. Questions go to walid@ayautomate.com. By creating an account or calling the gateway, you agree to them.
What the service is
looot is pay-per-use access to third-party data providers through one key. You send a request, looot routes it to a provider, and you get back the result. looot does not generate the underlying data itself; it is the metering, routing, and billing layer in front of providers you choose to call.
Accounts and tokens
Keep your API tokens private. You are responsible for any use of your account or tokens, including calls made by an agent or script you configured. Tell us right away if a token leaks so we can rotate it.
Payments
You keep a prepaid balance. The price is shown before each call runs, and you are charged only for calls that actually ran. A failed call costs nothing. You can request a refund of any unused balance at any time.
Acceptable use
No illegal scraping. Respect the terms of the provider you are calling through looot. No abuse of the gateway, providers, or other customers, including attempts to bypass rate limits, resell access without agreement, or interfere with the service.
Data
We store what running the service requires:
- Your account email and organization.
- Run records: the inputs you sent, the outputs you received, and their status.
- Your ledger: reservations, settlements, and refunds.
A provider call sends your inputs to that provider, which then holds them under its own terms. We do not sell your data. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
